Chelsea Light Moving, a new band founded and fronted by Sonic Youth‘s iconic songwriter, singer and guitarist, Thurston Moore, will release its debut album via Matador on Sept. 25th. If the rocking single, “Moving Empires,” and poetic “Burroughs,” are any indication of the album itself, it’s likely to be one of the best debuts of 2012.
