Songs For A Rainy Day – The Jesus and The Mary Chain, Jonquil, The Apples in Stereo, Atlas Sound, Modest Mouse, Sonic Youth

From the San Francisco Bay Area to Boston, from Texas to Chicago, and Portland to New York, there is a common theme – rain.  Therefore, it makes sense that this third installment (listen to/download mix one and two) of the recent Sounds of Spring mixtape series focuses on songs about rain.

      1. Hi Bill: Yes, that awesome Led Zep track was definitely on our larger rain songs list, and we already have it lined up to be featured in the next installment of ‘Songs For A Rainy Day’ – stay tuned 🙂

P.S. – We are HUGE Led Zeppelin fans. Few classic rock bands can claim they created consistent and stunning art rock mixed with blues and other influences. Also, if you are a Led Zeppelin, U2 and/or Jack White fan you gotta see the documentary ‘It Might Get Loud’. This is an especially must-see documentary for guitarists.
